Islamic University, Najaf
The Islamic University of Najaf marked the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa bin Jaafar Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) with a condolence council, featuring a religious lecture organized by the university’s Husseini Youth Authority in Al-Sayydah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her) Prayer Hall.
Attending the council were the President of the Islamic University, Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, alongside a number of professors, students, and staff members.
Sheikh Jaafar Al-Dujaili, a professor at the religious seminary, delivered the lecture, highlighting the exemplary life of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him). He focused on the Imam’s jihadist and humanitarian efforts, his pivotal role in promoting patience and resistance to injustice, and the hardships he endured to safeguard Islam and uphold truth.
The address emphasized emulating the Imam’s moral virtues—patience, self-restraint, responsibility, and tolerance—urging their cultivation among youth and students to foster a conscious, unified society.
