Anesthesia Techniques Faculty and Students Continue Voluntary Initiatives at Care Homes in Najaf Al-Ashraf

Faculty members and first-year students from the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Medical Techniques, Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf, organized a humanitarian volunteer visit as part of the university’s community service activities.

The initiative included visits to an orphan care home, an elderly nursing home, and the Institute for Physical Disabilities in Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate.
The initiative was carried out under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques, Dr. Yasar Al-Shamaa, with the participation of department faculty members and the Head of the Volunteer Unit at the College of Medical Techniques, Ms. Yousry Ammar Eidan. The delegation was warmly received by the officials of the care homes and the institute.

Through such initiatives, the Volunteer Work and Community Service divisions at the Islamic University reaffirm their commitment to developing academically accomplished and socially responsible graduates whose role extends beyond the classroom to making a meaningful and positive impact on society.
