The establishment of the college
The Faculty of Law and Political Science is one of the faculties of the Islamic University, which was established after the ministerial order to transform the Islamic College university into a university named (Islamic University) in 1440 Ah - 2018) and includes the department of law and its establishment was facilities and coinciding with the establishment of the Islamic College university in 2004 and many students came out in a decade and a half
The Law Department looks forward to being a center of legal knowledge by spreading legal awareness and respect for the rule of law and encouraging society to respect the principles of law as a tool to regulate diverse relations, improve society and achieve the desired development, and provide the state departments and institutions with qualified and competent legal cadres within a scientific framework that includes the values of human rights and the preservation of freedoms in order to contribute to the building of the state of law and the principle of sovereignty, The department looks forward to implementing specialized scientific programs and curricula to prepare the legal student in accordance with contemporary and future professional needs and to improve the teaching member and encourage scientific research and development, all within the framework of academic scientific legal knowledge with inspiration from the vocabulary of the Islamic heritage, especially derived from the thought of the people of the house .
