Foundation of the Faculty

The Faculty of Pharmacy was established at the Islamic University of Najaf on 9 October 2018, in response to the urgent need to prepare chemists with the scientific and technical competence to perform pharmaceutical services and chemical analyses in Iraq. The college was officially named the College of Pharmacy.

Vision:The Faculty of Pharmacy aspires to be a pharmaceutical speciality leader and to improve community public health and health care via innovation in pharmaceutical teaching and research.

Message: To graduate highly competent chemists in the pharmacy profession, to adhere to pharmaceutical and ethical service standards for the profession, and to strive for a leadership role in scientific research and community service.
