Islamic University, Najaf
Under the patronage of the President of the Islamic University in Najaf, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, the university’s Holy Quran Division organised its annual exam for students enrolled in the Free Quran Scholarship Programme, the first initiative of its kind among Iraqi universities in support of Quran memorizers.
The exam reflects the university’s commitment to nurturing Quranic talents and supporting students who memorise the Holy Book, in line with its mission to promote religious values and enhance both the academic and spiritual levels of its students. The programme aims to encourage male and female students to memorise the Holy Quran and to prepare a conscious generation that upholds Quranic values in both academic and professional life.
The university’s leadership affirmed its continued commitment to adopting initiatives that serve the community and strengthen Quranic identity.
