Islamic University, Najaf
The Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the Faculty of Education, Islamic University, held its regular meeting to mark the beginning of the new academic year. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Amir Fahim, Head of the Department, with the attendance of all faculty members.
Discussions focused on preparations for welcoming students, the department’s academic and practical plans in the fields of training and sports development, as well as monitoring the implementation of curricula and improving the learning environment in line with recent advances in physical education sciences.
Participants emphasised the need to intensify efforts to raise academic and research standards, while promoting sports and student activities that help develop skills and prepare qualified graduates capable of serving the community.
