Islamic University, Najaf
A high-ranking academic delegation from Iran’s Shahid Beheshti University recently visited the Islamic University in Najaf. The delegation facilitated discussions aimed at strengthening scientific and cultural ties and exploring opportunities for joint academic collaboration.
During their visit, the Iranian delegation toured the Islamic University’s various faculties and scientific departments. They met with Dr. Nazem Al-Salami, Dean of the College of Education, who outlined the college’s academic programs and developmental progress, emphasising the significance of partnerships with esteemed regional universities.
The delegation also visited the Faculty of Dentistry, where they were received by Dean Dr. Abbas Al-Aboudi. Dr. Al-Aboudi provided a comprehensive overview of the faculty’s educational and research initiatives, highlighting its willingness to engage in the exchange of expertise and participate in collaborative research and training endeavors.
The visit concluded with performing the two noon prayers in congregation behind His Eminence Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Sadr al-Din al-Qubanji in an atmosphere full of spirituality and mutual respect, which added a human and spiritual dimension to the academic visit.
This visit underscores the Islamic University’s commitment to expanding its international connections and elevating its academic standing through strategic alliances with universities both regionally and globally.
