Islamic University, Najaf
The Continuing Education Centre at the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf administered the national Arabic and English language proficiency tests on Sunday, April 13, 2025. These exams are a mandatory requirement for applicants seeking admission to postgraduate programs across various disciplines, including medicine, science, and the humanities.
The tests were conducted in a well-organized and smooth environment under the direct oversight of University President Professor Dr. Ammar Al-Salami and the on-site supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Jaber Al-Mousawi, the Centre’s Director.
These proficiency tests are a prerequisite for postgraduate studies at Iraqi universities, designed to evaluate the language skills necessary for academic success. Successful candidates will receive an official electronic certificate from the Continuing Education Centre, valid for two years.
This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to elevating the standards of higher education and enhancing the capabilities of its graduates as they prepare for postgraduate studies both within Iraq and abroad.
