About:

The Division of Rehabilitation, Employment and Graduate Follow-up was established at Al-Islamiya University by the University Order No. (3781) on (18/9/2023), the Division is concerned with spreading the entrepreneurial culture among different segments of society and raising community awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship for the individual, the economy and society to contribute to reducing unemployment and poverty. It is also concerned with developing the capabilities and skills of graduate students to enable them to apply and compete for jobs after they graduate through a set of training and qualification programmes during their studies, as well as opening horizons of cooperation with the public and private sectors in order to market them.

The Employment Division is the link between the labour sector and the university. Through it, the requirements of the market are transferred to the university so that the latter can develop the curricula in accordance with the requirements of the market, so the division contributes by submitting proposals to make changes in the university’s curricula in light of the requirements of the labour market.

The idea of creating the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit emerged after the excessive increase in the number of graduates without having a policy to regulate and address this increase, but the creation of this division has put points on the letters by finding effective solutions and changing the course of the ideas and orientations of students in seeking a job in the private sector instead of the public sector.

The Division provides the fastest, easiest and most economically effective methodology for employers to find the best candidates for jobs, as well as for graduates looking for work to find the best jobs in the labour market where the innovative recruitment method is adopted in terms of providing qualified and distinguished staff in the management of companies, institutions, engineering, technical and administrative offices and in all disciplines required in the labour market by qualifying them with technical and administrative training courses according to the required disciplines in a new method that is in line with the developments of modern education.
