Islamic University, Najaf
The Holy Qur’an Division at the Islamic University, in cooperation with the Centre for Continuing Education, organised a specialised Qur’anic course on memorisation of the Holy Qur’an and the rules of recitation on the morning of Tuesday, 13 January 2026, in the university prayer hall.
The course was delivered by Assistant Professor Mohsen Rasoul Al-Saffar, who addressed the proper foundations of memorising the Holy Qur’an and explained the most important rules and principles of recitation. His lecture aimed to enhance the participants’ Qur’anic proficiency and strengthen their connection with the Noble Book of Allah.
At the conclusion of the course, participating students were honoured in recognition of their dedication and commitment, and to encourage them to continue learning and memorising the Holy Qur’an. The event was held in an atmosphere reflecting the Islamic University’s strong interest in Qur’anic and academic activities.
This course forms part of the targeted programmes organised by the Islamic University to promote religious values and spread Qur’anic culture within the university community.
