Islamic University, Najaf
Under the patronage of the President of the Islamic University, Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul-Amir Al-Salami, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Law, organized an educational seminar titled “The Pedagogical Responsibility of the Female Academic in the University.” The event was held in the College of Law auditorium.
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Qasim Al-Haboubi and Lecturer Jihan Abbas Mohsen, who discussed the concept of pedagogical responsibility and its ethical and social dimensions within the university environment. They also highlighted the vital role of the female academic in shaping the intellectual and educational development of university students.
The speakers emphasized the importance of the academic serving as a model of conduct and commitment, reflecting academic and human values in her interactions with students and the community—an approach that contributes to preparing a conscious and responsible generation.
The seminar saw the attendance of several faculty members, staff, and students, and included interactive discussions that enriched the topic and underscored the significance of promoting awareness of comprehensive university education.
