Islamic University, Najaf
Under the guidance of the President of the Islamic University in Najaf, Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul-Amir Al-Salami, the university took part in the University Fine Arts Festival organized by the Student Activities Department at the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the supervision of the Head of the Authority, Mr. Salah Hadi Al-Fatlawi.
The festival was hosted by Al-Kitab University, with the participation of a distinguished group of public and private universities from various provinces across Iraq. The event witnessed a notable showcase of artistic and creative works produced by university students.
Mr. Naseer Jawad, Head of the Arts Activities Division at the Islamic University, stated that the festival featured a diverse range of works including painting, sculpture, Arabic calligraphy, and fine art photography. He emphasized that these contributions reflected the students’ high artistic skills and their ability to express themes related to the homeland, identity, and humanity.
At the conclusion of the festival, the Student Activities Department extended its appreciation to the Islamic University and to all participating universities for the creative works presented, which embodied the energy and creative spirit of Iraqi university youth.
