The College of Medical Technologies recently hosted a successful scientific workshop titled “Eradicating Artificial Intelligence Illiteracy.” The event was presented by Dr. Ghadeer Sabah Al-Bustani and saw strong attendance, including the Dean, Professor Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Saadi, Assistant Dean Dr. Rahman Zbeiba, and a number of professors and instructors.
The workshop aimed to demystify Artificial Intelligence (AI) by introducing participants to its core concepts and operating mechanisms. A key focus was highlighting AI’s most prominent applications in education and research, especially within the medical and technical fields.
The lecture underscored the necessity of boosting academic awareness of modern technologies and explored how AI tools can be leveraged to support scientific research, data analysis, and the development of contemporary educational methods.
Attendees were highly receptive, praising the lecture’s content and its cognitive value. They emphasized the importance of continuing such activities to keep pace with scientific development and enhance the skills of both academic staff and students.
