Islamic University, Najaf
The President of the Islamic University in Najaf, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, received a delegation from Imam Mahdi University (PBUH) and Al-Basira Channel, headed by Dr. Mohammed Baqir Al-Qubbanji.
The meeting discussed prospects for academic and media cooperation aimed at developing Al-Basira Channel and strengthening its presence on social media platforms. It also witnessed the announcement of initial steps to establish Al-Basira Radio and the creation of an official website for the channel linked to the university’s main site.
Prof. Al-Salami reaffirmed the university’s commitment to building partnerships with academic and media institutions to reinforce academic values and enhance the educational and media role of higher education.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the university president praised the efforts of Al-Basira Channel in supporting the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), by providing services to pilgrims and setting up religious guidance stations to offer advice and answer religious inquiries.
