Islamic University, Najaf
The Council of the Islamic University in Najaf convened its regular meeting this week, attended by the university’s founder, His Eminence Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Sayyid Sadr al-Din al-Qabanji, along with Rector Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir al-Salami. Also present were Prof. Dr. Haider al-Quraishi, President of the University in Babylon, Prof. Mohsen Abdul Saheb al-Muzaffar, Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Hassan Taher Melhem, Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs, and the deans of the university’s faculties in Najaf.
The council addressed a range of academic and administrative matters, including the organization of upcoming examinations, preparations for the next semester, academic development programs, expansion plans, and strategies for scientific cooperation with other universities.
The meeting concluded with several recommendations and decisions designed to enhance the university’s overall performance and improve the quality of education across its various departments.
