Islamic University, Najaf
The College of Medical Technologies at the Islamic University in Najaf hosted an awareness workshop titled ‘The Dangers of Human Trafficking in Iraq’. This event was presented by Professor Dr Rahman Sahib Zubaybah and attended by a group of students and faculty members from the relevant specialisation.
The workshop examined the challenges Iraq faces in combating human trafficking, emphasising the importance of community awareness and prevention. Dr Zubaiba highlighted the necessity for coordinated efforts from both academic institutions and society to address this issue and protect vulnerable groups.
The workshop forms part of a series of awareness-raising activities organised by the college, aimed at increasing both student and community understanding of sensitive humanitarian and human rights issues.
