Islamic University, Najaf
The Continuing Education Centre at the Islamic University in Najaf, in collaboration with the College of Medical Technologies, held a lecture on publishing in high-impact journals and understanding the H-index for academic researchers. The lecture, which took place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, is part of the university’s plan to develop its academic staff.
Dr. Imad Abbas Al-Mulla, from the College of Medical Technology, stressed the importance of improving the university’s global standing by helping researchers understand how H-Index criteria are calculated.
Safaa Al-Aasam, Deputy Director of the Centre, said that development programs would continue throughout the 2024/2025 academic year for all teaching staff, with open invitations to faculty members to take advantage of the center’s free courses.
