The agreement was formalized during an official ceremony hosted by the Central Technical University, attended by prominent academics and researchers.
Prof. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, president of the Islamic University of Najaf, represented the University, while Prof. Waddah Amer Hatim Al-Tamimi signed on behalf of the Central Technical University.
During the event, Prof. Al-Salami emphasized the importance of academic collaboration in enhancing higher education and aligning it with labor market demands. He described the twinning agreement as a pivotal step toward improving scientific research, elevating the quality of technical education, and creating new opportunities for students and researchers.
