Vision:
Empowerment and support for women to be essential actors in achieving sustainable development, positively influencing their surroundings, and capable of dealing with challenges, while enhancing their role in various areas of life in a country that guarantees them their constitutional rights and full protection without discrimination.
Message:
To provide university women, including faculty members, students, and employees, with the skills, knowledge, and expertise they need to develop and grow, making them productive members of society and effective, competent leaders who can contribute to and participate in decision-making, influencing its formulation and strategic implementation, in a way that meets the nation’s current and future needs.
Objectives:
- Empowerment through recognition: Raising the level of women’s presence in leadership roles within the Ministry of Higher Education by implementing a system that recognizes and enhances women’s competencies and achievements, and ensures equal opportunities for advancement based on merit.
- Empowering Women in Science: Enhancing women’s scientific capabilities in higher education in light of the rapid progress in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation by facilitating and supporting their effective participation in both local and international conferences, providing resources and guidance to encourage their contribution to research and innovation, and supporting young female researchers who demonstrate exceptional talent and outstanding innovations.
- Gender-integrated planning and integrating considerations and perspectives related to equality and equal opportunities into all Ministry plans and programs, in line with achieving the fifth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals.
- Advocacy and education to increase community awareness of women’s rights, status, and the importance of combating domestic violence by organizing educational courses and research conducted in cooperation with specialized centers, and empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to promote equality
