The President of the Islamic University Congratulates Journalists on Their 153rd Anniversary

The President of the Islamic University, Dr. Ammar Abdul-Amir Al-Salami, accompanied by Dr. Ahmed Duaibel, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Media, visited the headquarters of the Journalists’ Syndicate in Najaf to offer congratulations on the Day of Iraqi Journalists. Iyad Al-Jubouri, head of the journalist’s syndicate in Najaf, and several journalists of the local Syndicate branch welcomed them.

The university president praised journalists for their important role as the fourth authority in the country, and praised the Najafi journalist’s keen interest in the security and importance of his holy city.

Al-Jubouri expressed his gratitude for the visit, praising the role of the Islamic University in supporting, sponsoring, and cooperating with media professionals and journalists via the College of Information, so that the truth can be conveyed and established for all time, expressing full confidence in the College of Media at the Islamic University and its distinction among universities.
