Institutional Accreditation

The impact of institutional accreditation is reflected on the local community, as it contributes to enhancing the positive interaction between the Islamic University and the local community by providing community services, participating in local development projects, and employing human and intellectual resources in the service of the local and national community
Internationally, academic institutional accreditation is considered an indicator of excellence and quality that contributes to building the reputation of the university on a global level. Universities with strong institutional accreditation are attractive to students and researchers from all over the world, promoting cultural and scientific exchange and contributing to the development of knowledge and global scientific progress.
The process of obtaining institutional accreditation involves a series of steps and the main steps achieved by the Islamic University to obtain institutional accreditation can be summarised as follows:
1- Preparation and planning where the university mobilised all its human and material resources and used the necessary expertise in this field in order to obtain accreditation
2- Writing the self-assessment report, which the university completed in accordance with the institutional accreditation standards and included all aspects of the educational institution, including its educational programmes, staff, facilities, processes, and diagnosing the strengths and weaknesses of the institution.

Thirdly, the university has developed a comprehensive improvement plan based on the SWAT analysis and is now in the final stages of completing the improvement steps.
4- Writing a conformity report after making all the necessary improvements.
5- Addressing the Accreditation Council to visit the university, which is scheduled to take place in September this year in order to obtain national institutional accreditation
