Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations

About the unit

The Department of Missions and Cultural Relations should be a leader in promoting academic and cultural exchange and building strategic partnerships that contribute to achieving academic and research excellence at the international level.

Strengthening international cooperation through developing academic scholarship programmes, establishing sustainable international partnerships, and providing the necessary support to faculty members and students to achieve academic and scientific excellence, thereby enhancing the university’s standing in the international community.

Annual Strategic Plan (ASP)

First topic: Boosting scholarship and academic exchange programmes

1 – Identifying the Best International Universities and Institutions for Partnership

2 – To develop cooperation agreements and establish partnerships with prestigious international universities.

3 – To increase the number of scholarship recipients and provide them with the necessary financial and moral support.

The second topic: Building international partnerships

1 – To sign cooperation agreements with global universities and research institutions.

2 – To develop student and research exchange programmes with global universities.

3 – To participate in global higher education exhibitions and conferences to broaden the network of international relations.

Third topic: Enhancing the university's global reputation

1 – To organise international workshops and seminars in collaboration with international partners.

2 – To participate in global conferences and forums to strengthen the university’s international presence.

3 – To develop media content that highlights the university’s achievements and strengthens its international standing.

Fourth Topic: Supporting and developing academic scholarships

1 – To provide preparatory courses for scholarship recipients to ease their academic and cultural transition.

2 – To establish online platforms for providing support and monitoring scholarship recipients throughout their studies.

3 To regularly monitor scholarship recipients’ performance and provide academic support as needed.

Fifth Topic: Developing institutional performance and achieving sustainability

1 – To establish performance indicators for evaluating the success of scholarship programs and international partnerships.

2 – To conduct regular evaluations of the outcomes of scholarship programs and international relations.

3 – To conduct regular performance evaluations of the department and adopt improvements based on the findings.

1 – Annual number of agreements and partnerships signed with targeted universities.

2 – Yearly percentage growth in the number of scholarship recipients.

3 – Satisfaction level of scholarship recipients regarding financial and moral support.
