Islamic University, Najaf
On the sidelines of the central forum held by the Islamic University in Najaf, Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Ameer Al-Salami, President of the University, welcomed the participants of the forum organized to mark the birth anniversary of the Master of Guardians and Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), prior to the official start of the forum’s sessions.
During the reception, the guests—including international Qur’an reciter Karim Mansouri, and reciters Karar Abu Ghoneim and Hussein Al-Helou—were warmly received in recognition of their contributions to the success of the forum. Their participation added an atmosphere of faith and devotion, reflecting the noble life and lofty values of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
Professor Al-Salami highlighted the University’s commitment to organizing and hosting religious and cultural forums, noting their vital role in promoting moral and humanitarian values derived from the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and enhancing religious and cultural awareness among students and staff.
He also emphasised that such gatherings foster engagement with religious and cultural figures and support activities that integrate academic learning with spiritual and ethical dimensions.
