The President of the Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf, Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, received in his office a high-ranking delegation from the Senate of the city of Najaf Al-Ashraf, which included an elite group of sheikhs, notables, academics, and community men.

The visit came within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the university and community institutions, and reviewing the university’s progress and the academic and urban development it has achieved in recent years.
During the visit, the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Nazim Rahim Al-Salami, received the delegation. The Senate expressed its great admiration for the advanced level achieved by the Islamic University, stressing that the university has today become one of the most important scientific edifices in the governorate, and a fundamental tributary in graduating an elite group of scientific and leadership competencies who have played a prominent role in serving the Najafi community and assuming important positions in the government and service sectors.
For his part, the University President welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing that the university continues its approach aimed at strengthening community partnership and providing educational and training programs that contribute to building an aware and qualified generation to lead development in Najaf Governorate.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Najaf Senate expressed their appreciation for the great efforts made by the university presidency and its cadres in serving the educational process, wishing it further progress and excellence.
