The Islamic University held a large festival on the occasion of Victory Day, in commemoration of the national sacrifices and victories achieved by the people of Iraq. The festival witnessed a wide attendance of professors, deans and department heads, in addition to active participation from university students.

The ceremony was attended by the founder of the university, His Eminence Hujjat al-Islam,Sayyed Sadreddin al-Qabanji, who delivered a speech in which he stressed the depth of this national occasion and the importance of remembering the blood of the martyrs who sacrificed themselves in defense of the land and sanctities.
This festival was organized in cooperation with the Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi office in Najaf Al-Ashraf in appreciation of the sacrifices of heroes and victory makers.
The festival included various activities, including commemorative speeches about the heroism of the martyrs and the fighters, a section of the national anthem, and artistic and cultural performances in celebration of this precious national occasion, which is considered a symbol of unity and steadfastness.
This initiative comes from the Islamic University, as it follows the approach of the religious authority in Najaf Al-Ashraf in remembering the righteous martyrs and immortalizing their heroic stances.
