Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Ameer Al-Salami, President of the Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf, participated in the international conference on the divine scholar and Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Hassan Al-Na’ini (may God sanctify his secret). This conference is one of the most important scientific conferences aimed at reviving the intellectual and jurisprudential heritage of the symbols of science and knowledge in the religious seminary.
This conference constitutes a prominent scientific station because it includes solid research and academic participation that enhances the path of the scientific renaissance and aims to preserve and analyze Islamic heritage with a modern academic methodology, which makes it an important forum for researchers and scholars.
Dr. Al-Salami’s participation came as a confirmation of the Islamic University’s commitment to supporting major scientific events, its keenness to open up to research centers and holy shrines, and to enhancing the university’s role in serving society and knowledge.
His Excellency also attended the opening and closing sessions at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein and the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, in the presence of a wide range of leading scholars and researchers, reflecting the Islamic University’s active presence in prestigious academic forums.
