Islamic University, Najaf
Under the patronage of the President of the Islamic University of Najaf, Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, the Department of Medical Laboratories at the College of Medical Technology (Evening Study) held a joyful celebration on the occasion of the anniversary of the birth of Sayydah Zainab (peace be upon her).
The ceremony began with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech by the college’s scientific assistant, Dr. Imad Abbas Al-Mullah, who spoke about the fragrant biography of Sayydah Zainab (peace be upon her) and the immortal model she represents of patience, faith, knowledge, and steadfastness in supporting the truth.
The ceremony included the recitation of poems and songs (births) that expressed joy on this blessed occasion, recalling the heroic stances of Aqila Zainab (peace be upon her) and her lessons in sacrifice and redemption.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hussein Al-Zawamil, Head of the Medical Laboratories Department, and a number of professors and students, who participated with great interaction in an atmosphere full of joy and happiness.
