Islamic University, Najaf
Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, honored the Islamic University of Najaf and its branches in Babylon and Diwaniya. As part of the activities of the first Volunteer Work Conference 2025 held at the University of Baghdad, Naim Al-Aboudi was recognized for his excellence in volunteer work and community service initiatives.
Mr. Abdul Karim Al-Haidari, the university’s volunteer work coordinator, received the shield of excellence after the university placed third among Iraqi public and private universities.
Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, the university’s president, and his keen interest in promoting social responsibility made this achievement possible, Al-Haidari said.
During his speech at the conference, Minister Al-Aboudi emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education will continue to support volunteer initiatives and promote positive values.
