The Islamic University of Najaf is organizing a scientific symposium entitled “A Nation of Reading Fights Illiteracy and Disseminates Knowledge”

The Islamic University in Najaf’s Women’s Affairs Division, in collaboration with the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, recently hosted a scientific symposium titled, ‘A Nation that Reads Combats Illiteracy and Spreads Knowledge.’

The event was attended by the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Fatima Abdul Ameer Al-Salamy. Professor Abdul Ameer Al-Aaraji, who delivered the keynote lecture, emphasized the critical role of science and knowledge in building a prosperous society. He further outlined the duty of educational institutions to combat illiteracy and promote cultural awareness.

This symposium is part of the university’s broader series of initiatives designed to foster a culture of lifelong learning and support projects that spread knowledge throughout the academic community.
