Islamic University, Najaf
The Islamic University took part in a scientific symposium titled: “Artificial Intelligence: A Reading of Arab and International Prospects”, organised by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Planning. The event, held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of the University, was attended by a distinguished group of academics and representatives from governmental and private institutions.
The Islamic University was represented by Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Adhari, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Dr. Abdul Amir Al-Atrash, Director of Public and Cultural Relations. Their participation reflected the University’s commitment to engaging in advanced scientific discussions on future technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
The symposium sought to address the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence technologies at both local and international levels, while exploring avenues for academic and research collaboration in this vital field.
Through its participation, the Islamic University reaffirmed its dedication to strengthening cooperation with universities and governmental institutions and supporting national efforts in digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence to sustainable development.
