Islamic University, Najaf
Under the patronage of the Islamic University in Najaf, the Department of Anesthesia at the College of Medical Technologies organised a scientific seminar entitled “Extremism and Moderation in the Approach of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)”, delivered by His Eminence Dr. Sayyed Mohammad Baqir Al-Qubbanji, in the presence of a group of professors and attendees.
During the seminar, Dr. Al-Qubbanji explored the intellectual and behavioural foundations adopted by the Imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in building a balanced society based on moderation and rejection of both extremism and negligence. He stressed that their approach represents the path of mercy and moderation, and serves as a vital framework for addressing the manifestations of ideological and behavioural extremism in the contemporary world.
The seminar is part of a series of academic activities organised by the college to enhance students’ cultural and religious awareness, and to connect scientific knowledge with the ethical and value-based dimensions of authentic Muhammadan Islam.
