Dr. Ghadeer Al-Bustani, Rapporteur of the Department of Anaesthesia at the Faculty of Medical Technology at the Islamic University of Najaf, has published distinguished scientific research in collaboration with a group of scientists from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, USA, entitled:
“The Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor: A New Frontier in Male Reproductive System”
“The Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor: A New Frontier in Male Reproductive System” was published in the journal Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology by Springer Nature.
The research is a pioneering study in the field of male fertility and reproductive health, shedding light on the AhR receptor and its vital role in regulating reproductive functions, representing a new scientific breakthrough in understanding the mechanisms of infertility, hormonal imbalances, and the impact of toxic agents on the male reproductive system.
This accomplishment highlights the advanced scientific standing of researchers at the Islamic University and underscores the extent of international collaboration in scientific research between Iraqi academic institutions and their global partners.
