Yasser Ammar Tuwaij, Director of the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) Office in Najaf Al-Ashraf, recently visited the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf with a delegation. They were welcomed by University President, Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami.

Discussions focused on mutual interests, including boosting electoral awareness and simplifying the process for university professors and students to update their voter information.
As a result, IHEC will open a voter card data update station on the university campus. This initiative aims to make it easier for all university staff and students to update their voter cards.
The Islamic University encourages professors and students wishing to update their data to visit the designated station on campus during official working hours.
