Delegation from Islamic Azad University – Najafabad Visits Founder of the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf

A delegation from the Islamic Azad University – Najafabad Branch visited the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf on the sidelines of the “Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in Industry, Education, Health, and Sustainable Development 2025” Conference, held in Najaf. The visit aimed to strengthen academic ties and discuss future cooperation between the two institutions.

The delegation, headed by senior officials from Islamic Azad University, was welcomed by His Eminence Hojjatoleslam Sayyed Sadruddin Al-Qabanji, founder of the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf. The visit was also attended by Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, President of the Islamic University, along with a number of deans and faculty members.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed prospects for joint academic initiatives and explored opportunities for collaborative research and scientific development. A key outcome of the discussions was the agreement to organize a joint scientific conference focusing on the study of “Nahj al-Balagha,” recognized as one of the most significant sources of Islamic thought. The two universities also emphasized the importance of exchanging academic and scientific expertise across various fields.
Members of the Azad Islamic University delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted their commitment to active participation in upcoming scientific events. His Eminence Sayyid Al-Qabanji, in turn, thanked the visiting delegation for their efforts to promote joint scientific cooperation and stressed the importance of advancing scientific development, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence, which he described as a key driver of national progress.
