The Faculty of Education’s Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the Islamic University of Najaf recently inaugurated discussions on the graduation research of fourth-stage students for the current academic year. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohsen Al-Muzaffar, scientific assistant to the university president; Dr Nazim Al-Salami, dean of the Faculty of Education; Prof. Jabbar Rahima, assistant dean; Prof. Amir Fahim Al-Abedi, Head of the Department; and a group of professors and sports specialists.
The research presentations covered a wide range of topics, including sports science, physical training, sports rehabilitation, and the impact of physical activities on public health. These projects were evaluated by specialized scientific committees to ensure academic rigor and relevance.
The college administration emphasised that these discussions play a crucial role in enhancing students’ scientific research skills and ability to systematically analyze sports issues. The outcomes of these studies are expected to provide valuable insights that can benefit the sports sector locally and internationally.
