The distribution of these baskets will be carried out by students from the University’s Husseini Youth Commission, focusing on delivering aid to vulnerable communities in Najaf province, particularly in informal settlements. This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to serving society and embodying the values of generosity and care emphasized during Ramadan.
In the spirit of compassion and social solidarity that defines the holy month of Ramadan, the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf, under the guidance of its founder, His Eminence Hujjatul Islam Sayyid Sadruddin Al-Qabanji (may his legacy endure), and the direct supervision of University President Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, has prepared hundreds of food baskets to support underprivileged families. Each basket contains 12 essential dry food items to assist those in need during this sacred time.
