ANSYS Training Workshop Held at Islamic University

Islamic University, Najaf— as part of its ongoing commitment to enhance engineering knowledge and develop the skills of students and professionals in advanced simulation and engineering analysis techniques, the College of Technical Engineering at the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf recently organized a specialized training workshop titled “ANSYS and Its Role in Engineering Fields.”
Led by instructor Dr. Sahib Majeed, the workshop focused on the significance of ANSYS software in stress analysis, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer, emphasizing its practical applications in refrigeration, air conditioning, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering.
The event attracted a large audience, including college professors, students, and other individuals interested in technical engineering. Participants engaged in practical demonstrations and received detailed explanations on utilizing the software for simulating various engineering systems. The interactive session allowed attendees to pose questions, fostering productive dialogue between them and the lecturer.
Dr. Majeed underscored the importance of ANSYS in enhancing engineering system performance while reducing time and material costs during design and testing processes. He noted that proficiency in this tool is essential for modern engineers.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific events organized by the College of Technical Engineering aimed at bridging academic knowledge with practical applications and enhancing the capabilities of students and engineers in utilizing cutting-edge engineering technologies.
