Islamic University, Najaf— a handicrafts bazaar was inaugurated at the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf, organized under the supervision of the Religious and Educational Guidance Unit. The opening ceremony was led by His Eminence Sayyid Sadruddin Al-Qabanji, the university’s founder, alongside Dr. Hassan Taher Melhem, the assistant rector for administrative affairs, and several deans who toured the bazaar.
The festival featured various events, including a performance by the Islamic University Choir, which honored the Commander of the Faithful (AS) with a song and released balloons inscribed with Imam Ali’s (AS) name.
Mrs. Hasnaa Al-Qabanji, the bazaar supervisor, emphasised that this event aligns with the Islamic University’s mission to commemorate the occasions of Ahlul Bayt (AS) while fostering creativity among students and harnessing their artistic talents.
