Islamic University, Najaf— The Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf recently hosted its annual festival, “Qa’datu Al-Nasr,” to honor the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the homeland and sacred sites. The event was attended by key figures including the university’s founder, His Eminence Hojjat Al-Islam Sayyid Sadruddin Al-Qabanji, and the President of the Islamic University, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, along with deans, faculty members, administrators, and a large number of students.
During the festival, the founder and the president delivered speeches reflecting on the martyrs’ and leaders’ bravery and sacrifices, emphasising the significance of their bloodshed for the nation’s survival.
This initiative aligns with the Islamic University’s commitment to honoring its righteous martyrs, following the guidance of the religious authority in Najaf.
