Islamic University, Najaf— Under the direct guidance of Prof. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, President of the Islamic University, the institution is actively pursuing extensive afforestation initiatives across various streets in the province and within its campus.
The University’s Community Service Division has also launched a program to distribute hundreds of trees free of charge to students and affiliates.
Additionally, the Islamic University in Najaf and its branches in Babylon and Diwaniyah governorates have conducted several awareness campaigns to promote volunteerism for environmental preservation. These efforts foster a healthier atmosphere, improve local ecosystems, and combat environmental pollution.
