Islamic University, Najaf— On December 23, 2024, a significant memorandum of understanding was signed between Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, President of the Islamic University in Najaf, and Prof. Dr. Adel Hadi Al-Baghdadi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the House of Wisdom. The signing took place at the House of Wisdom Foundation in Baghdad.
The memorandum outlines key areas for collaboration, including promoting scientific and cultural exchanges, fostering intercultural dialogue, and advancing studies that support human rights and fundamental freedoms. It aims to strengthen democratic values and enhance cooperation between the Islamic University and the Bayt Al-Hikma Foundation. Additionally, it opens new pathways for academic collaboration to elevate research standards.
Under this agreement, both institutions will facilitate access to manuscripts and historical documents, share expertise across various scientific fields, and organise joint conferences and workshops. They also plan to collaborate on scientific research initiatives, including joint publications in international journals and peer evaluations by specialists from both sides.
