Islamic University, Najaf— The Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf volleyball team clinched the Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship title after a dominant victory over the University of Babel in the final match. The Najaf team secured a clean sweep of three sets to claim the championship.
The match was attended by the University’s President, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, and the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Hassan Taher Melhem, along with deans, faculty, and students.
President Al-Salami congratulated the team on their impressive performance and wished them continued success in future competitions. He also expressed optimism for the university’s other sports teams in upcoming tournaments.
