Islamic University’s Artificial Kidney Technology Department Visits State Orphanage in Najaf Al-Ashraf

Islamic University, Najaf— On Tuesday, 19 November 2024, a delegation of professors and students from the Departments of Artificial Kidneys and Pathological Analysis at the Islamic University in Najaf visited the State House for Orphan Care, affiliated with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. The visit was part of the Islamic University’s broader initiatives to serve the Iraqi community, particularly Najaf, following the directives of the University President, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami. During the visit, the delegation presented gifts to the orphans.
They also met with the director of the orphanage, Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the university’s initiatives, highlighting their positive psychological impact on the orphans. Mr. Abdulkarim Al-Haidari, head of the Community Service Division at the university, conveyed greetings from the university president to the orphans and the orphanage staff, wishing them continued success. He emphasized the Islamic University’s commitment to ongoing voluntary humanitarian initiatives that bring joy and smiles to the faces of the orphans.
