Islamic University, Najaf— Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, President of the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Aboudi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Dentistry conducted a scientific course on Monday and Tuesday, September 23-24, 2024. The course at the educational clinics was titled “Basic Biomechanics in Clear Aligner and Diagnosis of Periodontal Disease.” Assistant Lecturer Diaa Mohammed Jawad and Assistant Lecturer Al-Mustafa Wissam Wahab gave lectures as part of the continuing medical education activities.
The First Lecture 23/9/2024:
1. Definition of periapical tissue diseases.
2. Explain the modern classification of periapical periodontics.
3: Knowing the Disease Diagnosis.
4: How to take a medical history of the affected patient.
5: How to use the special examination tool included in the disease diagnosis.
The Second Lecture on 24/9/2024:
1. Introduction to transparent braces.
2: Methods of treating malocclusions with clear braces.
3: Why Do Movable Transparent Braces Fail?
4: Scientific studies on movable clear braces.
