Islamic University, Najaf— Under the auspices of Prof. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, President of the Islamic University in Najaf, and with the guidance of Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Saadi, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Technology, alongside Dr. Rahman Zubaiba, Assistant Dean, the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology recently hosted a workshop focused on the latest advancements in MicroRNA functions.
The workshop featured three insightful lectures. Dr. Aida Fadil Baiwi from Kufa Medical College opened the session with a presentation discussing the recent announcement of the 2024 Nobel Prize in General Medicine. Following her, Dr. Haider Ali Mohammed Al-Naji from Middle Euphrates Technical University delivered a lecture on the various functions and types of microRNAs.
The event concluded with Dr. Baraa Aqeel Hassan’s presentation, which provided practical insights into identifying and studying microRNAs.
