Islamic University, Najaf— Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul-Amir Al-Salami, President of the Islamic University, and with direct oversight from Dr. Rahman Zubaybah, Assistant Dean of the College of Medical Techniques, a seasonal flu vaccination campaign was successfully conducted on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. This initiative occurred within the College of Medical Techniques and was organized in collaboration with the Najaf Health Department, Martyr Hussein Naji Health Centre, and Kinda Model Health Centre. The campaign saw participation from numerous faculty members and students from the college. The annual seasonal flu vaccine prevents influenza, a contagious viral illness that can result in severe health complications and even fatalities.
