Islamic University, Najaf— Under the patronage of the Islamic University, represented by the President of the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul Amir Al-Salami, the students participating in the course and competition (Masbah Al-Huda Jurisprudence), which was held by Al-Basira channel of the Islamic University during the summer holiday for students of universities, institutes, and secondary schools, which included the study of the topic of the book (Al-Taqleed), were honoured. The ceremony was attended by he Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Hassan Taher Melhem Al-Yasiri, and the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Hadi Al-Tamimi, in addition to a number of university teachers and students.
The honouring programme included a speech by the President of the Islamic University delivered by the Administrative Assistant to the President of the University, in which he stressed the importance of holding such electronic religious programmes and thanked the staff of Al-Basira Channel and the students participating in the programme.
The ceremony included a speech by the Director of Al-Basira Channel, Mr. Dr. Mohammad Baqer Al-Qabanji, in which he welcomed the attendees and explained the details and objectives of the programme.
This was followed by a speech by the student (Al-Qabtul Farhan Odeh) from Kufa University, who won first place in competition.
At the end, the President of the Islamic University honoured the students who won the competition and congratulated them on their victory, after which the successful participating students were honoured by the deans and professors of the university.
