Islamic University, Najaf – Recognizing the significance of the Islamic University in Najaf Al-Ashraf’s contributions to student activities among Iraqi universities, particularly in international initiatives, two faculty members participated in a global course focused on training and arbitration in strength sports. The university was represented by Zaid Muhammad Kazim and Hussein Ali Hashem at the event, which took place at Al-Farahidi University from August 21 to 25. The course featured lecturers from various countries and included numerous public and private Iraqi university representatives. The Department of Student Activities at the Ministry’s Supervision and Evaluation Department oversaw the courses. The Department of Student Activities at the Islamic University expressed gratitude to Prof. Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, the President of the Islamic University, for his ongoing support and commitment to enhancing student activities both within the university and across Iraqi universities, as well as in international academic events. The Islamic University has actively participated in all university activities organised under the Ministry’s supervision, showcasing its dedication to fostering student engagement on both national and international levels.
