Islamic University, Najaf – Under the patronage of the President of the Islamic University, Professor Dr. Ammar Al-Salami, Al-Baseera Channel, affiliated with the Islamic University, organized the “Eid Allah Al-Akbar” competition (عيد الله الأكبر), which was announced on the occasion of Eid Al-Ghadeer Al-Aghar. The competition involved memorizing 40 wisdoms from the wisdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). Over 200 male and female students from university, institute, and secondary school levels in Iraq participated in the event. The competition was held at the Islamic University of Najaf and its branches in the governorates of Diwaniyah and Babylon, under the supervision of Mr. Dr. Muhammad Baqir Al-Qabbanji, Director of Al-Basira Channel.
This competition and others are part of the university’s religious and cultural events and activities, serving the youth segment in Iraq. Al-Basira Channel regularly holds multiple religious’ competitions and programs.
