Islamic University Student Places Second in Qur’anic Research Competition

Islamic University, Najaf – A recent competition for the best Qur’anic graduation research, organized by the Department of the Scientific Complex of the Holy Qur’an at the Holy Abbasid Shrine, saw Muhammad Talib Mohsen from the Islamic University of Najaf Al-Ashraf secure second place. Mohsen, a student in the Department of Qur’anic and Linguistic Studies at the College of Islamic Sciences, impressed the judges with his research project titled “The sound of the dād and its effect in explaining the Qur’anic text – for the words of Part Thirty.” The competition was part of a Qur’anic project spanning public and private universities across the governorates of Najaf Al-Ashraf and Al-Diwaniyah for the academic year 2023-2024.
